Surrender Enquiry

We understand sometimes life happens and you may be no longer able to keep your animal. However, please be aware that there is currently a crisis in pounds, shelters and rescues with unprecedented numbers of animals in care. Please try all is other avenues before requesting surrender. This may involve asking family/friends to help, talking to your landlord, offering a pet bond if you’re relocating, contacting a trainer, talking to your vet or contacting the place you adopted through.
ARCH's main focus is helping those animals in pounds but we do try and assist with surrenders in some circumstances. In order to take in surrenders, we need foster carers and usually only have carers for small dogs and kittens.
Completing this form, does not mean we are agreeing to take your animal. You are also not obligated to go through with surrendering. We will need to assess the animals’ details, space available in care and suitability for rehoming. We will respond to you as soon as possible via phone or email. There may be a surrender fee.
Last Litter Program

ARCH also runs a last litter program in order to stop the cycle of unwanted puppies and kittens. Under the program, the owner agrees to surrender the entire litter of puppies/kittens to ARCH and ARCH will desex their mother (the mother stays with the owner). Go to our Last Litter Program page for more information.
