Winston is a sweet, affectionate and energetic boy who has settled in beautifully and is ready to find his special person. 🥰
He is a very friendly boy who loves people and happily seeks out pats, cuddles and attention from anyone willing to give them. He is also wonderful with children and loves being included in family life.
Winston does have some anxiety and takes medication to help him feel settled and comfortable. He prefers to have his people around and doesn’t enjoy being left alone outside. Once he’s inside and with his humans, he settles well and is happiest knowing he’s close to his people. ❤️
There are times during the day when Winston may bark quite a bit or chew on things as a way of self-soothing. He will need a patient, understanding family who can give him the reassurance, consistency and companionship he needs.
Winston is also still working on his house training. He will need someone who can keep an eye on him and give him plenty of opportunities to go outside while he continues learning.
💙 A little extra care for Winston:
Winston needs an antihistamine before receiving any vaccinations. This is an important part of his ongoing care, and his new family will be provided with all the information they need to continue this safely.

✨ Someone is home most of the day or doesn’t work full-time
✨ He can be part of the family and spend lots of time with his people
✨ His anxiety medication and vaccination requirements can be managed
✨ He has a secure yard
✨ His family is patient and understanding
✨ He receives plenty of love, reassurance and positive attention
Winston is such a loving boy with a lot of affection to give. He just needs someone who understands him and can give him the security and companionship he thrives on. 💙
