- easy access to both inside and outside- sleep inside with his family
- another dog would be great but not essential- a pool/clam shell as Bruce LOVES the water
- someone who is home a bit so he is not left alone for too long

Meet Bruce, our sweet and charming older gentleman, who sadly is looking for a new forever home. Unfortunately, we do not have any history on Bruce as he was rescued from a rural pound out west. He certainly has been well loved in the past, as he is the sweetest dog you could ever meet, and he is more than happy to trust and love his new people.
Bruce loves to smooch with his people and his more than happy to share his love with other dogs, currently living with 4 other dogs, including a 5 month old puppy, who he has been fantastic with. He is great in the car and loves nothing more than going for adventures - especially the local dog park, where he is happy to wander around - but never too far.
Bruce is no spring chicken, and our vet thinks he has had previous surgery on his back leg, which is now causing a bit of discomfort. He is receiving a monthly injection which is proving to be a wonder drug, and his new owner will need to keep this up for at least the next couple of months, and then hopefully it could be decreased. As soon as he had his first dose, he was doing zoomies around the yard, and was able to jump straight up on the bed - woohoo.
Bruce will just love to spend his life with someone who can love him as much as he will love you. He would be great with another friendly dog, but not essential. But above all, Bruce LOVES WATER. He must have been a merman in his previous life.
Bruce is fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.
