Meet Magpie

Magpie (affectionately known as Shaky) is a truly special 5 month old terrier cross puppy.  She has Shaky Puppy Syndrome, but don't let a condition fool you - Magpie is happy, playful, full of personality and completely unaware that she is any different from other dogs.  Magpie has been like this since birth, and research says that they can grow out of this condition, but at her age, it does not seem likely.  Most importantly, she is not in pain and absolutely loves her life.

Magpie is looking for a very special forever home that can give her the safe, comfortable life she deserves.   Because of her condition, she will need a single-storey home with no stairs as she would find this too difficult to negotiate.  But don't fear, she tears around the backyard like any other puppy, albeit falling over a bit.   A large yard or even acreage property would be ideal, as she isn't suited to regular walks like most dogs.  Magpie is happiest having space to explore safely at her own pace.

One thing Magpie would really love is another friendly dog to keep her company.  She adores canine companionship and would thrive with a calm but still playful kind dog buddy to hang out with.

Magpie must sleep inside and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with her people watching tv.  She is incredibly affectionate, loves squeaky toys and will keep you laughing daily with her funny antics and joyful personality.  Magpie would also be wonderful with children as she seems quite drawn to them and is pretty gentle for a puppy.

This beautiful girl may need a slightly different kind of home, but she will reward the right family with endless love, laughter, cuddles and companionship.  If you think you could give Magpie the safe and loving forever home she deserves, we would love to hear from you.

Magpie is microchipped and C5 vaccinated.  She will be desexed in the next month or so which is covered in the adoption fee if attending our own vet (or a reimbursement given for same amount if using another vet).
